Beyond Jeff’s experience playing professional ball and his legal career as a prosecutor, it was his time with the Mad Ants that has particularly shaped his approach to serving players. While running the Mad Ants’ basketball operations, Jeff took particular care to make sure that his players were well taken care of, because he understood from his playing experience overseas what a lonely and difficult journey professional basketball can be. He made the Mad Ants into a family where his players always knew they had a home, and this family atmosphere is a hallmark of Potter Sports. No matter the time of day or issue, Jeff will make sure he is there to support his players. This type of care and concern is what made the Mad Ants special, and it is why Jeff was able to garner such respect and loyalty from his players, who remain friends and colleagues with him to this day.
